Paul Heyman set to appear on tonight’s episode of Raw

Paul Heyman will be in the building as Goldberg answers Brock Lesnar’s challenge on tonight’s episode of Raw.
According to Dave Meltzer, Heyman is set to appear on the show after being added to it at the last minute. Heyman wasn’t originally scheduled for the show.
In addition to hyping the release of the WWE 2K17 video game, Heyman made his return to WWE television on last week’s episode of Raw to challenge Goldberg to a match on behalf of Lesnar.
While making the challenge, Heyman framed the storyline as Lesnar wanting revenge for Goldberg beating him at WrestleMania XX in 2004 prior to both men then leaving the company.
Goldberg tweeted shortly after Heyman made the challenge that he would respond live on tonight’s Raw from Denver, CO. It will be the first time he’s appeared on Raw since 2004.
Meltzer had previously reported that Goldberg vs. Lesnar was all but confirmed for November’s Survivor Series pay-per-view, and it seems likely that the match will be officially announced soon.
Goldberg and Lesnar are set to appear separately on episodes of Raw leading up to the Survivor Series go-home show, where they will both be present to build their match for the PPV.
UPDATE: Heyman appeared in a video and wasn’t present in front of the live crowd.
