NXT TV taping spoilers: Three matches taped before TakeOver

Three matches took place at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California prior to TakeOver: WarGames II, but Matt Riddle vs. Kassius Ohno wasn’t one of them.

After going back and forth on the pre-show panel, Riddle opened the main card by cutting a promo and saying he was supposed to face Ohno next week — but he’ll knock him out tonight instead. The angle led to Ohno telling the referee to ring the bell and Riddle defeating Ohno immediately with a knee strike.

Here are the matches that were taped before TakeOver:

– Keith Lee defeated an enhancement wrestler

Lee’s opponent was Fidel Bravo.

– Lars Sullivan defeated an enhancement wrestler

Keith Lee came back out to make the save after the match.

– Nikki Cross defeated Candice LeRae

Cross and LeRae were both involved in the “who attacked Aleister Black?” angle, with Johnny Gargano being revealed as the attacker ahead of TakeOver.

With their next tapings at Full Sail University not scheduled until November 28, NXT also taped content for television at their show in San Jose this Thursday.
