Number one contenders tag team match set for next week’s WWE SmackDown
A fatal four-way to determine new number one contenders for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team titles will take place on the September 16 SmackDown.
In a rematch from Raw on September 5, The New Day’s Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods, The Street Profits’ Angelo Dawkins & Montez Ford, Alpha Academy’s Chad Gable & Otis, and Los Lotharios’ Angel Garza & Humberto Carrillo will square off to determine the top contenders to the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions The Usos.
When the four teams last faced off on the September 5 Raw, Braun Strowman ran in and attacked all four teams leading to the match being declared a no contest.
The Usos have held the SmackDown Tag Team titles since July 2021, and unified those belts with the Raw Tag Team titles on the May 20, 2022 SmackDown to become the Undisputed Tag Team Champions.
