Nikki Bella on WWE return: ‘You’ll definitely see me for a bit’

Nikki Bella is back in WWE for an extended stay after making her return on Raw earlier this week.

In an interview with People after Monday’s Raw episode, Nikki said she’s back with WWE for an extended run rather than just a one-off appearance. That run is expected to include her competing at WWE’s all-women’s Evolution event on Sunday, July 13.

“You’ll definitely see me for a bit,” she told People. “It’s not a quick in and out.”

Exactly how long this run will be — and whether or not Nikki will be sticking around after Evolution — remains to be seen. A feud between Nikki and Liv Morgan began with a confrontation on Raw. It looks like they’ll be facing each other at Evolution, potentially in a Women’s Tag Team title match with Nikki and her twin sister Brie challenging Morgan & Raquel Rodriguez. TMZ Sports reported today that Brie Bella is in talks with WWE regarding a return.

Nikki was an entrant in the women’s Royal Rumble match earlier this year, competing for the first time since 2022. She has not regularly wrestled since 2018. Nikki told People that she was nervous for her appearance this past Monday, but it felt good being back home in WWE.

“It felt so good,” Nikki said. “I can’t tell you how many text messages I’ve gotten today, like, ‘Girl, it was like you were just right back in it. You could tell that’s your happy place.’ I’ve been getting so much love from friends and family and coworkers saying how natural it was to see me back in there. They all were like, you just seemed so happy and like you were back home.”

Nikki will be appearing again on Raw next week as the build to Evolution continues.
