New WWE Tag Team Champions crowned on SmackDown
New WWE Tag Team Champions have been crowned.
Dexter Lumis and Joe Gacy of The Wyatt Sicks defeated Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins of The Street Profits on Friday’s show to win the WWE Tag Team Championship.
The victory for the Wyatt Sicks duo came after interference from their stablemate Erick Rowan. The interference spot led to Dawkins being waylaid at ringside, and a distraction from Gacy forced Ford to miss his signature frog splash and ultimately led to the title change.
Both Gacy and Lumis racked up their first WWE career title win of any kind in the victory. Gacy made his WWE television debut on 205 Live in July 2021. Lumis is in his second run with the company and has wrestled just four matches in 2025.
The Street Profits’ second reign with the WWE Tag titles ends at 207 days.
