New match added to WWE Raw, CM Punk to kick off the episode
The Women’s Intercontinental Championship tournament continues on WWE Raw tonight with another first-round match.
WWE has announced that Raquel Rodriguez vs. Kayden Carter vs. Zoey Stark will happen on tonight’s show. The winner advances to the semifinals, where a matchup against Dakota Kai awaits.
Kai and Lyra Valkyria are the first two wrestlers to secure their spots in the semifinals. After tonight, there is still one first-round match remaining with Natalya vs. Kairi Sane vs. Alba Fyre. The tournament winner will be crowned WWE’s first-ever Women’s Intercontinental Champion.
WWE has added new mid-card titles for both the Raw and SmackDown women’s divisions. The inaugural Women’s United States Champion was decided at Saturday Night’s Main Event this past weekend with Chelsea Green defeating Michin.
Tonight’s Raw is taking place from TD Garden in Boston. It’s been announced that CM Punk will be kicking off the show, with him set to address Seth Rollins and their feud. Punk has his sights set on challenging Gunther for the World Heavyweight Championship but may have to deal with Rollins first.
Rollins is also scheduled to appear tonight. Here’s everything that has been announced for the show:
