Natalya to release ‘The Last Hart Beating’ memoir in October

Natalya is set to release her memoir, “The Last Hart Beating.”
During an appearance on The Ariel Helwani Show on Tuesday, she announced that the book will be published later this year, with retailers listing the release date as October 28, 2025.
“Over the last year, I have been working on a book,” Natalya said. “I was so nervous about announcing it, sharing it with the world because it’s been like my baby. I’ve been working so hard on this and pouring my soul into this. And I was so grateful that in the summer, Triple H allowed me to have time to work on it and to really dig into it.”
Natalya re-signed with WWE last June and took a three-month sabbatical before returning when Raw was in her hometown of Calgary on September 10.
“Once I signed my new deal, I started working on it and really just pouring my soul into it,” she continued. “And it was one of the most cathartic experiences of my life to be able to go, ‘OK, I want to tell my story,’ because once I started writing it, I realized that a lot of people don’t know my story.”
While negotiating her new contract with WWE, Natalya says she told the company that she is looking to break out of her comfort zone.
“I have been screaming for change for myself for so long,” she said. “I was at that crossroad where I was like, ‘I need more, I want more.’ And the thing about being in WWE for as long as I’ve been there is that it’s very easy to get comfortable.”
Natalya has been announced for two upcoming non-WWE shows. She will make her GCW debut, as Nattie Neidhart, at Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport XIII on the Thursday of WrestleMania week next month. She is also set for the NWA Crockett Cup on May 17.
“I think I have to do different things and I have to get a little uncomfortable,” she continued. “Josh Barnett is a really good friend of mine and somebody that I deeply respect, and I reached out to Josh and I was like, ‘Hey, you’re going to be here during WrestleMania week. I would love to do what Shayna (Baszler) did last year.’”
“I’ve trained with Josh before. His style is very, very reminiscent of the Dungeon style and, of course, where my family has come from. And so they, Triple H and Josh, were both super supportive of it.”
