Matt Riddle vs. Kassius Ohno set up for next week’s NXT TV

As expected, Matt Riddle vs. Kassius Ohno looks to be official for next week’s episode of NXT television.
Riddle facing Ohno was officially set up for next Wednesday on last night’s NXT episode. Their storyline continued during a segment where Ohno interrupted Riddle’s interview with Cathy Kelley. Ohno said he’s been waiting to hear from Riddle, and Riddle responded by saying he’ll knock out Ohno next week.
Dave Meltzer reported in Sunday’s Daily Update that Riddle vs. Ohno would be taped at the Staples Center in Los Angeles prior to Saturday’s TakeOver: WarGames event and that the main card would have four matches. On his pre-TakeOver conference call, Triple H said they thought four matches would make for a better overall experience with the card having a WarGames match and Shayna Baszler vs. Kairi Sane being two-out-of-three falls.
The Undisputed Era (Adam Cole, Kyle O’Reilly, Roderick Strong & Bobby Fish) vs. Ricochet, War Raiders & Pete Dunne in a WarGames match , NXT Champion Tommaso Ciampa defending against Velveteen Dream, Baszler vs. Sane in a two-out-of-three falls match for the NXT Women’s Championship, and Johnny Gargano vs. Aleister Black will take place on Saturday’s main card.
Riddle and Ohno were supposed to wrestle each other in a match at the WrestleMania 35 on-sale party tonight, but the on-sale event at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey was canceled due to expected inclement weather. NXT will be taping some content for TV in San Jose tonight.
