WWE announces Matt Riddle out of action for six weeks

WWE announced on Friday that Matt Riddle will be out of action for six weeks.
During the Undisputed Tag Team title match that opened Friday’s SmackDown, announcer Michael Cole noted that as a result of Solo Sikoa attacking Riddle on Raw, Riddle would be out of action for the next six weeks.
On Monday’s show, Kevin Owens and Riddle teamed up to take on The Usos in a Undisputed Tag Team title match. After The Usos retained the titles, Sikoa attacked Riddle, giving him the Samoan Spike. Following that, he continued to pay tribute to Umaga by wrapping Riddle’s neck around a chair and delivered a running hip attack on Riddle, who was propped up against the ring post in the corner. Riddle was stretchered out following the assault.
Elias, who has been aligned with Riddle in recent weeks, was originally set to team with Riddle. However, a vignette was shown prior to the Raw match showing The Bloodline attacking Elias backstage, rendering him unable to compete.
