Mansoor vs. Mustafa Ali added to WWE Crown Jewel

Mansoor and Mustafa Ali are set to clash at Crown Jewel.

The match was announced tonight on WWE’s social media. This follows the events of tonight’s Raw, where dissension between Ali and Mansoor eventually evolved into a full out attack by Ali.

On tonight’s show, Ali and Mansoor faced Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin. The latter team picked up the win in under two minutes. After the match, Ali shoved Mansoor to the ground and said that he was “tired of this”. Later, while Mansoor was giving an interview backstage, Ali confronted him, saying that he was a worthless loser and a giant waste of time. Ali ended up attacking Mansoor, laying him out.

The storyline between Mansoor and Ali has played out on Raw since June, with Ali begrudgingly teaming with Mansoor, wanting to prove to Mansoor that everyone in WWE were backstabbers and cheaters. The last several weeks have seen the team lose to Angel Garza & Humberto Carrillo twice.

Mansoor, who was born in Saudi Arabia, has competed in several of WWE’s events in the country. He won a 51-man battle royal at Super ShowDown 2019, and has also scored wins over Dolph Ziggler and Cesaro.

Crown Jewel will take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on October 21.
