Mandy Rose returns to WWE Raw following shoulder injury

For the first time since being pulled from Survivor Series, Mandy Rose returned to WWE television on Monday’s episode of Raw.
Rose returned on this week’s Raw and saved her tag team partner Dana Brooke from Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax. A match between Baszler and Brooke on the show ended in a disqualification when Jax interfered and pushed Brooke off the top rope. Rose ran out with a kendo stick and attacked Baszler and Jax with it after the match, but Baszler was able to get the kendo stick away from her. Asuka then attacked Baszler and helped Rose and Brooke clear the ring.
Lana had been laid out by Baszler and Jax earlier on Monday’s show. WWE has announced that Lana won’t be able to wrestle at Sunday’s TLC pay-per-view following the attack. Asuka and a partner of her choosing will now challenge for Baszler & Jax’s Women’s Tag Team titles at the PPV.
Rose was supposed to team with Baszler, Jax, Lana & Brooke in the women’s five-on-five elimination match at Survivor Series last month, but a legitimate shoulder injury led to Rose being pulled from the match. There was also an angle where Brooke was removed from Survivor Series, with her and Rose being replaced by Lacey Evans and Peyton Royce.
Rose’s shoulder injury happened on the November 9 episode of Raw. The following week, there was a six-woman tag match where Rose, Brooke & Asuka faced Baszler, Jax & Lana. Rose had kinesio tape on her shoulder going into the match and was taken out near the beginning after Baszler stomped her arm into the steel steps.
