Logan Paul’s return set for next week’s WWE SmackDown

The United States Champion will return to WWE SmackDown on July 19 to answer LA Knight’s SummerSlam challenge.
Logan Paul’s return has officially been announced for the Friday, July 19 SmackDown, where he will presumably answer the SummerSlam challenge issued by LA Knight during this week’s episode. Knight presented a signed contract for a title match against Paul at SummerSlam during Friday’s show, with only Paul’s signature standing in the way of a US title bout for the August 3 pay-per-view in Cleveland.
A one-on-one contest has also been announced for next week’s show.
Following a backstage interaction between the two on this Friday’s episode, Andrade and Carmelo Hayes are set to square off in the ring on the July 19 SmackDown.
The bout will be the first for Hayes since taking part in the Money in the Bank ladder match on July 6, a contest he qualified for by pinning Randy Orton in a triple threat qualifier on the June 21 SmackDown.
The announced card for next week’s show:
- United States Champion Logan Paul returns
- Andrade vs. Carmelo Hayes
