On Instagram Live, Paul showed a video of himself joking about the injury with his brother Jake. Another video showed his girlfriend wheeling him around in a wheelchair holding crutches.
Paul headlined this year’s Crown Jewel in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, ultimately losing to Reigns in a match that had been for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship. The finish of the match had both The Bloodline and members of Paul’s entourage, including his brother Jake, interfere. After Paul did a dive taking out members of The Bloodline, Reigns took advantage by hitting the Superman punch as Paul re-entered the ring, then won with a spear.
