Logan Paul attacks Jey Uso in WWE Raw post-show angle
Logan Paul attacked World Heavyweight Champion Jey Uso in an angle shot after Monday’s WWE Raw went off the air.
After the Netflix portion of Monday’s Raw ended, Uso was greeting fans around ringside when Paul attacked from the audience.
Paul landed a right hand that Uso sold as a one-punch knockout, with Paul hastily retreating from the arena as Sami Zayn and CM Punk came to Uso’s aid. WWE’s chief content officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque reposted the video of the angle with the caption: “The show never ends…”
Uso defended the World Heavyweight title in the main event of Monday’s Raw against Seth Rollins in a contest that ended without a finish after Bron Breakker, Zayn, and Punk all interfered in the match.
Punk hit Rollins and Breakker with a steel chair and aligned himself with Zayn, as both have an ax to grind against the new Raw group featuring Rollins, Breakker, and Paul Heyman.
