Logan Paul accepts Triple H’s invitation to appear on WWE SmackDown

Logan Paul is set for his first appearance on WWE television since SummerSlam.
WWE has announced that Paul will be on SmackDown this Friday night. The appearance was set up by a social media exchange that took place after Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns appeared on Paul’s Impaulsive podcast. Following the exchange, Paul “Triple H” Levesque sent out a tweet inviting Logan Paul to SmackDown.
The Impaulsive episode included Paul calling out Reigns after Reigns left. Paul said he loves competing at the highest level as soon as he gets into a new industry, and he thinks he can beat Reigns.
“You put me against Roman Reigns right now, I think I would win,” Paul said. “Me vs. Roman Reigns one-on-one, that’s my match.”
Reigns reacted to Paul’s comments by directing Paul Heyman to “handle” Paul.
“I bless the world and bring the Island of Relevancy to your show,” Reigns tweeted. “You and your boys acknowledge me and as soon as I’m gone you run your mouth?!. Wiseman, handle him. @HeymanHustle”
A Twitter back and forth between Heyman and Logan Paul then resulted in Triple H inviting Paul to appear on SmackDown. Paul accepted the invitation.
It was announced this June that Paul, who made his in-ring debut at WrestleMania 38, had officially signed a contract with WWE. He defeated The Miz at SummerSlam in July.
