Lacey Evans done with WWE

Lacey Evans is no longer with WWE.
The 33-year-old hinted at her departure in a social media post on Monday and our own Dave Meltzer has since confirmed she is done with the company.
Further details regarding her exit are not currently available.
“When the clock strikes 12, you will address me as Macey Estrella from here on out…….oh, and this jacket is up for grabs. Be on the lookout,” she wrote.
“I’ve been a Macey Estrella fan since 2016. Can’t wait to see what’s next!” Evans’ former coach at the WWE Performance Center, Scott Garland, responded to her post.
Evans has changed her handle on Instagram from @LaceyEvansWWE to @LimitlessMacey. Her bio now reads that she was formerly known as WWE’s Lacey Evans.
“World Traveler ✈ FKA WWE Superstar Lacey Evans USMC Veteran Motivational speaker Coffee lover/Creator,” her profile page reads.
Evans served in the Marines for five years before beginning her pro-wrestling training in 2014. She trained with Tom Caiazzo at the American Premier Wrestling training facility in Georgia.
WWE signed Evans in 2016 and she wrestled her first match for the company that October. She was called up to the main roster in early 2019 and made her official televised debut in the Royal Rumble that year.
Ric Flair had an on-screen relationship of sorts with Evans in early 2021 but the storyline came to an end due to her real-life pregnancy.
A series of vignettes featuring Evans talking about her real life aired leading up to her return in April 2022. She would later play up her background in the Marines as part of her character as well. Her last match was a dark match loss to Zelina Vega on the July 7 SmackDown tapings.
