LA Knight vs. Drew McIntyre booked for next week’s WWE SmackDown

LA Knight vs. Drew McIntyre, plus Bron Breakker’s in-ring debut on the brand have been announced for the February 23 WWE SmackDown. 

After a backstage confrontation on this week’s show between Knight & McIntyre, WWE made their match official for next week in an announcement on SmackDown. Both Knight & McIntyre are set to compete in the men’s Elimination Chamber match at next Saturday’s pay-per-view.

After being presented as SmackDown’s newest signing on Friday’s show, Bron Breakker’s in-ring debut has also been announced for next week’s episode. 

The feud between The Pride and The Final Testament will continue with a tag team match on next week’s SmackDown as The Street Profits will take on Authors of Pain. 

Another tag team bout is also set for next week, with the newly-dubbed New Catch Republic (Pete Dunne & Tyler Bate) taking on The Judgment Day’s Dominik Mysterio & JD McDonagh. Dunne & Bate will challenge Judgment Day’s Finn Balor & Damian Priest for the Tag Team titles at Elimination Chamber next Saturday. 

Next week’s SmackDown is being taped Friday night in Salt Lake City. The announced card for the show airing on Friday, February 23:
