LA Knight involved in minor car accident ahead of WWE house show in Baltimore

LA Knight didn’t let a minor traffic accident stop him from making it to WWE’s live event in Baltimore on Saturday night.
Knight revealed to the crowd at the show that someone backed into his rental car while he was driving on I-70 earlier in the day. When Knight informed the rental company of this, he told them he couldn’t stay at the scene as he had to get to the show.
Knight said:
“It wasn’t an easy road down here. I’ll tell you why. A little bit earlier today, I was driving down I-70. I got in a little fender bender. Somebody decided to back into my car.”
“I called up the rental company, and I said, ‘Hey guys, nothing to worry about here but I got in a little fender bender, and I just wanted to let you know.’ He said, Well, can you stay there at the scene?’
I said, ‘Nah! You don’t understand. I got to get to Baltimore.'”
“I said, ‘I’m on my way right now.’ He said, ‘Well, sir, what are you in such a hurry to get to Baltimore for? I said, ‘Well, as soon as I walk in the building, some dummy…’ he said, ‘Dummy?’ I said, ‘Yeah!’ I said, some dummy’s going to walk down here, and he’s going to need to be shot down, yeah, he’s going need to get a BFT, yeah, he’s going to need to get dropped on his head, yeah!'”
According to WrestleTix, just over 8000 fans were in attendance for last night’s house show in Baltimore. WWE also ran the KIA Center in Orlando on Saturday, drawing just under 8000, while AEW ran World’s End at the nearby Addition Arena.
Knight defeated Santos Escobar on last night’s show. He is also advertised for tonight’s WWE house show at Allstate Arena in Chicago. The main event is CM Punk challenging Gunther for the World Heavyweight title inside a steel cage.
