John Cena’s first appearance since heel turn set for next WWE Raw

John Cena will appear on WWE programming for the first time since turning heel at Elimination Chamber on next week’s WWE Raw.
Cena was confirmed for the Monday, March 17 show in Brussels, Belgium during this week’s Raw, a show that Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes is also booked for. WWE is promoting the show as Cena and Rhodes “under one roof.”
The Intercontinental Championship will also be on the line next week, with Bron Breakker to defend against Finn Balor. In storyline, Dominik Mysterio went to Raw GM Adam Pearce on Balor’s behalf to secure the title shot as they continue to tease dissension between Balor and the rest of The Judgment Day.
Penta and Ludwig Kaiser’s rivalry will continue on next week’s Raw with a no disqualifications match between the two. Jey Uso vs. Austin Theory, plus Ivy Nile vs. Dakota Kai are also set for next week.
The March 17 WWE Raw will stream live from Belgium beginning at 3 p.m. Eastern time. The lineup:
- John Cena’s first appearance since turning heel, Cody Rhodes under the same roof
- Intercontinental Champion Bron Breakker defends against Finn Balor
- No DQ: Penta vs. Ludwig Kaiser
- Jey Uso vs. Austin Theory
- Ivy Nile vs. Dakota Kai
