John Cena is headed to Springfield.

The Simpsons creator Matt Groening and showrunner Matt Selman took part in a panel discussion at San Diego Comic-Con this weekend and revealed news about the show’s upcoming 36th season. They announced that the season premiere episode, titled “Bart’s Birthday,” will feature appearances by Cena, Conan O’Brien, Tom Hanks, and Danny DeVito.

“It’s kind of crazy, star-studded premiere,” Selman said. “It’s a pretty bold, big idea.”

Cena joins Bret Hart as wrestlers to have been featured on The Simpsons. The character of Mr. Burns was forced to sell his home to Hart after losing all his money in the episode titled “The Old Man and the Lisa,” which first aired on April 20, 1997.

At Money in the Bank earlier this month, Cena made a surprise appearance and announced plans for his retirement. He would later clarify at the post-event media scrum that while next year’s WrestleMania will be his last, he plans on continuing to perform until the end of 2025.

“It’s not going to end at WrestleMania. That WrestleMania will be my last WrestleMania but hopefully, if everything goes according to plan, we’re going straight through from January to December,” Cena said.
