John Cena returning to WWE on June 27 Raw
John Cena will return to Raw on the June 27 Raw in Laredo, Texas to celebrate the 20th anniversary of his WWE television debut.
WWE announced during tonight’s Raw episode that Cena will return in three weeks for his first appearance with the company since a September 2021 show in Madison Square Garden.
A video package for the special appearance aired, culminating with the announcement of the date.

A 20 years of Cena “#CenaMonth” celebration was announced last week, with Cena-centric content set to be pushed out across WWE’s social media platforms throughout June.
Cena debuted on WWE SmackDown on the June 27, 2002 episode, answering a Kurt Angle open challenge.

In his most recent WWE match, Cena and The Mysterios defeated Roman Reigns and The Usos in a dark match at MSG at a SmackDown taping on September 10 of last year.
Cena’s most recently televised match came in the main event of last year’s SummerSlam on August 21, where he lost to Roman Reigns in a Universal title match.
