Jey Uso vs. Drew McIntyre set for next week’s WWE Raw

Jey Uso will return to the ring for the first time since SummerSlam on the Monday, September 18 WWE Raw show.

As announced on Monday’s Raw, Uso will be in action against Drew McIntyre on next week’s episode. Their match was set up during a backstage interaction where McIntyre stated that he didn’t trust Uso, as Uso aligning with The Judgment Day continues to be teased.

Uso last wrestled in a Tribal Combat match at SummerSlam on August 5, losing to Roman Reigns in an Undisputed WWE Universal title bout. Uso later quit WWE in storyline, only to be brought back to the Raw brand at this month’s Payback pay-per-view.

For his part, McIntyre defeated Xavier Woods in singles competition on this week’s Raw.

Another singles bout is set for next week as well, with top contender for Seth Rollins’ World Heavyweight Championship Shinsuke Nakamura will be in action.

After a backstage attack from Nakamura on Ricochet during this week’s Raw, Nakamura & Ricochet will square off on next week’s show.

The announced card for the Monday, September 18 Raw from Salt Lake City, Utah:

  • Jey Uso vs. Drew McIntyre
  • Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Ricochet
