Jey Uso on WWE Bloodline angle: ‘It’s not a story, it’s our reality’

Jey Uso opened up about The Bloodline’s run atop WWE during a recent interview with Sports Illustrated.

For nearly four years, Roman Reigns was the Tribal Chief of the faction until Solo Sikoa assumed the role in the months that followed WrestleMania 40. Now with Reigns back and a babyface, the angle appears ready to enter a new chapter.

“We’re here to keep the bloodline and the lineage strong,” said Uso. “I’m very proud of it. This is our family’s life. It’s not a story, it’s our reality.”

Uso admitted that it had been difficult for him recently without having his brothers or cousin with him on Raw. He said that his run as a singles star thus far in WWE has been “a little scary.”

“It’s a little scary,” said Uso. “You’ve got to sink or swim on your own. I’m still getting used to that.”

In a previous interview, Jey noted that Jimmy Uso is set to return soon. Jey told SI.com that when he does, fans will get to see how funny his brother can be.

“And people are going to love Jimmy. He’s the funniest guy I know, so much funnier than me. You’ve seen glimpses of what he can do on his own. Wait until you see his greatness. He’s up next.”

Speaking of Roman Reigns, Jey said he looks up to his cousin and that there is nobody that does it better.

“There is no one better,” Jey Uso said of Reigns. “He makes it look so easy. I look up to him. He’s got this art form down.”
