Jeff Hardy to face Randy Orton inside Hell in a Cell

Jeff Hardy will battle Randy Orton next month within the confines of the Hell in a Cell structure.

Hardy came to the ring tonight during SmackDown and called out Orton, claiming that the got into his head last week. Orton arrived, saying that Hardy only needed to remember about the RKO. Hardy cut him off before he could finish and challenged him to a Hell in a Cell match. WWE later made the match official on their Twitter account.

Orton and Hardy have been feuding for the last couple of months, with Orton attacking Hardy at Extreme Rules back in July. He has continuned his assaults on Hardy over the last several weeks, though held himself back when Hardy unsuccessfully challenged for the United States title at SummerSlam. Things kicked off again last week when the two brawled throughout the arena, culminating with Hardy delivering a swanton bomb through a table near the entryway.

Hell in a Cell will take place on September 16 at the AT&T Center in San Antonio, Texas.
