Janel Grant/Vince McMahon update: Dr. Carlon Colker withdraws his complaint

Celebrity doctor Carlon Colker has withdraw his petition/complaint against Janel Grant in an adjacent development to the Grant vs. Vince McMahon lawsuit.
Following Grant’s petition in July seeking medical records related to Grant’s treatment at the clinic as it pertained to her ongoing sex trafficking lawsuit against WWE, McMahon, and John Laurinaitis, Colker and his Peak Wellness facility filed a complaint against Grant in August alleging her efforts were part of a “smear campaign.”
Grant’s team then filed a motion to strike the complaint and file a special motion for sanctions against both Colker and Peak Wellness including attorney costs awarded to Grant.
The complaint was withdrawn by Colker’s legal team on Wednesday while Grant’s petition against Colker and Peak Wellness remains in place.
Colker was identified as the “celebrity doctor” in the initial Grant lawsuit where she alleges McMahon directed her to Peak Wellness in Greenwich, CT, to receive IV infusions and supplements without knowing what she was talking. She said the medical records provided by Colker to this point are both inconsistent and incomplete.
In a statement to Post Wrestling, Grant attorney Ann Callis stated that “Unsurprisingly, Dr. Colker has withdrawn his baseless motion. In the same vein as Mr. McMahon’s recently struck down motion, this was filed simply as yet another frivolous attempt to intimidate Ms. Grant.”
