Jamie Noble wrestles final match at WWE house show

WWE producer Jamie Noble returned to the ring on Sunday night for one final match.

At a WWE house show in his home state of West Virginia, Noble teamed with Braun Strowman, Ridge Holland & Butch to defeat The Bloodline (The Usos, Solo Sikoa & Sami Zayn). Noble picked up the win for his team by pinning Zayn.

Zayn posted a tweet after the show expressing how honored he was to be part of the match.

“An emotional night. I’m humbled & honored to have had the privilege of sharing the ring with Jamie Noble tonight in his final match,” Zayn wrote. “Very few actually know how much Jamie has contributed to this industry. One of the great minds for the business & an unsung hero at @WWE. Grateful.”

Noble’s family was in the front row for the match. WWE shared video of them cheering Noble on as he made his entrance.

In an Instagram post last week, Noble wrote that Drew Gulak was helping him prepare for the match: “Huge ‘THANK YOU’ to @drewgulak!!!! Drew took his own personal time to come in a help me with nothing but a thank you and a ton of my appreciation from me!! I can’t put over Drew enough for the help in the ring and mentally!! Thank you, Drew!!”

Sunday was Noble’s first time wrestling since 2015, when he was a regular on-screen character for WWE as part of The Authority. Noble and Joey Mercury were known as J&J Security.

Noble began working for WWE in a behind-the-scenes role after retiring as a fulltime in-ring competitor in 2009. He was a one-time WWE Cruiserweight Champion during his career and also held the ROH World Championship once in 2005. He wrestled for ROH under his real name James Gibson.
