Hulk Hogan’s wife Sky: I ‘truly believed’ he would overcome health issues

Though Hulk Hogan was battling serious health issues before his death, his wife Sky Daily believed that he would kick out and they would be able to spend more time together.

Hogan (Terry Bollea) passed away of cardiac arrest on Thursday following weeks of rumors about his health as he was dealing with complications from neck surgery. Those complications had him in and out of the hospital, but Daily still believed that her husband would recover.

“I wasn’t ready for this…and my heart is in pieces,” she wrote in an Instagram tribute today. “He had been dealing with some health issues, but I truly believed we would overcome them. I had so much faith in his strength. I thought we still had more time.

“This loss is sudden and impossible to process. To the world, he was a legend… but to me, he was my Terry. The man I loved. My partner. My heart.”

Hogan and Daily — a yoga instructor — wed in 2023, with this being Hogan’s third marriage. He is survived by his two children, Brooke and Nick, from his first marriage with Linda Hogan.

Daily asked everyone to keep Hogan’s family in their prayers as they navigate this difficult time.

“Hulk loved his fans so much and despite his growing physical discomfort, he did everything he could to show up, sign autographs, take photos, and connect with the people who supported him through it all,” Daily wrote. “You meant everything to him.

“He was a believer in Christ, and I take comfort knowing his soul is at peace and he’s been welcomed home. Please keep his family and all of us who loved him in your prayers as we try to navigate this new reality.”
