Hulk Hogan undergoes neck fusion surgery

WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan has undergone a neck fusion procedure.

TMZ reports Thursday that the 71-year-old Hogan underwent surgery on Wednesday, but was back working on Thursday according to a representative for the former six-time WWF Champion.

According to the report, the surgery was “a little fusion procedure” done in an attempt to help Hogan “feel a little better.”

The representative for Hogan told TMZ that Hogan was back working on Thursday after a “quick turnaround,” presumably promoting his new Real American Freestyle wrestling league and Real American Beer brands.

Hogan claimed in a 2024 appearance on Logan Paul’s podcast that he underwent more than 25 surgeries over the prior decade, including having both hips replaced, both knees replaced, and a slew of back surgeries.

While his timeline may be skewed, Hogan did undergo a series of back surgeries in the late 2000s and early 2010s, later suing the Laser Spine Institute in Florida in 2013 for malpractice, seeking $50 million in damages, claiming that a series of minimally invasive procedures harmed his wrestling career when a traditional fusion surgery would have been the correct procedure. Hogan then had spinal fusion surgery in December 2010. Hogan later agreed to a settlement in the LSI lawsuit.
