The Hardys to address Jeff’s injury status

It appears that Jeff Hardy’s injury status and what it means for the SmackDown Tag Team titles will be addressed tonight.
In a video that he posted on Monday night, Matt Hardy announced that The Hardys will appear on this week’s SmackDown. Matt said they’ll answer everyone’s questions, address rumors of Jeff being injured, and let everyone know what Jeff’s status is.
The segment has yet to be officially announced by WWE.
Dave Meltzer reported last week that Jeff was injured at WWE’s house show in Madison, Wisconsin on April 20. Meltzer noted that it appeared to be a right knee injury.
“We haven’t gotten any official word of the nature or severity of the injury, past that within WWE the belief among the people who need to know for storyline reasons is that [Jeff] is scheduled for surgery this coming week after SmackDown, which is probably why the injury itself is being kept secret,” Meltzer wrote last week. “Those close to him just said that he’s injured, hopefully not terribly bad and time will tell but right now he’s playing things safe. So don’t know if he’s going to work next week and do an injury angle and/or title loss, or how this will be handled storyline wise. We also don’t know the nature of the surgery, whether major or minor.”
On the post-WrestleMania 35 episode of SmackDown, The Hardys defeated The Usos to win the SmackDown Tag Team titles. There was then a post-match angle where The Hardys were laid out by Lars Sullivan.
The Usos moved to Raw in this year’s Superstar Shake-up.
