Less than two months after revealing his prostate cancer diagnosis, “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan has announced that he’s cancer-free.

Duggan posted an update on Wednesday announcing that he just received the good news that his cancer was entirely encapsulated in his prostate, and he’s cancer-free after undergoing surgery.

“Hi everybody. I just want to share everybody the great news I just received that my cancer was all encapsulated inside my prostate. They checked my bones, that came out clear. The surrounding tissue came out clear. The lymph nodes came out clear. So, thank God I’m cancer-free,” Duggan said.

“You know, this is my second bout with cancer. Twenty years ago I had kidney cancer, now prostate cancer. Folks, remember, early detection saves lives. And merry, merry Christmas. Ho, Ho, Hooo!”

Duggan underwent prostate cancer surgery on October 29. Prior to having surgery, Duggan said it was an issue that had been going on for a couple of months and he had been living with it and getting ready for it.

Duggan also underwent an undisclosed emergency surgery on October 20.

Duggan was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2011.
