Goldberg to answer Brock Lesnar’s challenge on Raw next week

It seems like we’re getting closer to the official announcement of Brock Lesnar vs. Goldberg.

Paul Heyman returned to WWE television on Monday night’s edition of Raw not only to promote the WWE 2K17 video game, but to challenge Goldberg to a match on behalf of Lesnar.

Heyman claimed that Goldberg remained the one blemish on Lesnar’s record because of his loss to Goldberg at their original match at WrestleMania XX. Heyman brought up that every time a stud athlete makes the transition to wrestling or someone gets on a roll, the fans inevitably reference Goldberg.

During the segment, Heyman also said that Goldberg could live in the fantasy of WWE 2K17 or he could step into the ring and be beaten by Lesnar.

Goldberg tweeted on Monday night: “Booking my flight to answer that big mouth @HeymanHustle ‘s challenge next week in person on #MondayNightRaw#WhosNext? #seeyathere@WWE“

Next week’s Raw will take place in Denver, CO.

Dave Meltzer reported last week that Goldberg vs. Lesnar was all but confirmed for WWE’s upcoming Survivor Series pay-per-view on November 20th.
