First hour of Monday’s WWE Raw to air commercial-free

With a big episode of Raw on tap for tonight, WWE has announced that the first hour of the show will air commercial-free.
WWE posted a video on Monday afternoon with Raw general manager Adam Pearce revealing the news. The episode is the Survivor Series fallout edition of Raw and is set to include appearances by both CM Punk and Randy Orton.
“Monday Night Raw – huge coming from Nashville tonight,” Pearce said. “Randy Orton is back. And so is CM Punk. And just for you, the first hour on USA tonight – commercial-free.”

Punk and Orton both returned to WWE at Survivor Series this past weekend. Punk’s return was a surprise, with him showing up at the conclusion of the event. It was Punk’s first appearance for WWE in nearly a decade.
WWE looks to be building up a feud between Punk and Seth Rollins. Rollins is the current World Heavyweight Champion.
Orton competed in the men’s WarGames match at Survivor Series, teaming with Cody Rhodes, Jey Uso, Rollins & Sami Zayn to defeat Damian Priest, Finn Balor, Dominik Mysterio, JD McDonagh & Drew McIntyre. The match was the first time Orton has wrestled since May 2022. Last year, he underwent surgery for a career-threatening back injury.
Here’s everything that’s been announced for Monday’s Raw:
- CM Punk appears
- Randy Orton appears
- WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Chelsea Green & Piper Niven defend against Tegan Nox & Natalya
- Tag Team Turmoil match for Undisputed WWE Tag Team title shot: New Day vs. Alpha Academy vs. The Creed Brothers vs. DIY vs. Imperium vs. Indus Sher
- Bronson Reed vs. Ivar
- The first hour will air commercial-free
