Firefly Fun House segment set for WWE SmackDown

Bray Wyatt is set to host his first Firefly Fun House segment since losing the Universal Championship.
An advertisement that aired during last night’s Raw announced that a new edition of Firefly Fun House will air on SmackDown this week. The segment comes after The Fiend vs. John Cena was set up for WrestleMania 36 at the end of last week’s show.
Cena cut a promo last Friday where he initially announced that he wasn’t going to be taking part in this year’s WrestleMania. He said he was betting on the future and WrestleMania spots are to be earned and not demanded. Cena also teased that he didn’t know when his next time back in WWE would be.
But when Cena got to the stage and was saluting the crowd, the lights went out and The Fiend appeared. The Fiend pointed at the WrestleMania sign, and Cena responded by tipping his hat to accept The Fiend’s challenge.
Cena tweeted yesterday: “Want to thank @WWEonFOX and more importantly @WWEUniverse for such an emotional experience on #Smackdown. I went to Boston to say ‘goodbye’ but realized that no matter where life takes me, @WWE is always home. Now, onto #WrestleMania!”
The Fiend lost the Universal Championship to Goldberg at Super ShowDown last Thursday. Goldberg will defend his title against Roman Reigns at WrestleMania.
This Friday’s SmackDown is taking place at the KeyBank Center in Buffalo, New York. It’s SmackDown’s go-home show for Elimination Chamber.
