Final WWE SmackDown on Fox does record-low audience

Friday night’s WWE SmackDown episode averaged 1.77 million viewers on Fox, down 13.8 percent from the previous week. It’s the lowest viewership the show has done on Fox aside from a best-of episode that aired in December of last year.
SmackDown drew a 0.45 rating in the 18-49 demo. That’s down 15.1 percent from last week and — aside from the best-of episode — it’s the lowest rating the show has done since August 2022. It’s the ninth lowest rating in the history of SmackDown on Fox.
The show went head-to-head with an NFL game on Peacock, which averaged over 14 million viewers. It’s the first time the NFL has had a regular season game air opposite SmackDown.
As compared to the same week in 2023, SmackDown’s overall viewership was down 15.5 percent while its 18-49 rating was down 15.1 percent.
This was the last SmackDown episode on Fox before the show moves back to USA Network starting this Friday.
Listed below are the last 11 weeks of overall viewership totals and 18-49 demo ratings for SmackDown, as well as the 10-week average in both categories. This week’s show was down 19.7 percent in overall viewers and down 26.2 percent in 18-49 as compared to the recent averages.
