The Fiend faces Seth Rollins at WWE Calgary house show

Bray Wyatt’s Fiend character made its house show debut at WWE’s event in Calgary, Alberta, Canada on Friday night.

The Fiend challenged for Seth Rollins’ Universal Championship, with Rollins winning by disqualification. For the finish, The Fiend put Rollins in the Mandible Claw against the turnbuckle/ropes and wouldn’t let go of the hold.

It appeared that Rollins was going to stand tall after giving The Fiend four curb stomps in the post-match angle. But when Rollins stood over him after and was seeing if The Fiend was going to stay down, The Fiend reached up and put Rollins in the Mandible Claw again. The lights went out and The Fiend was gone when they came back.

The Fiend controlled the match until Rollins countered a Sister Abigail attempt. The Fiend popped right up after being hit with a curb stomp during the match and did the same for the first curb stomp he took after it was over.

This was Wyatt’s third match as The Fiend. He defeated Finn Balor at SummerSlam and defeated The B-Team (Curtis Axel & Bo Dallas) in a post-SmackDown and 205 Live dark match at Madison Square Garden earlier this month.

Rollins will defend his Universal title against The Fiend in a Hell in a Cell match at WWE’s Hell in a Cell pay-per-view in Sacramento, California on October 6.

The Raw roster will be in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada for a house show tonight. Rollins vs. Wyatt is again advertised for the card.
