El Santo headlines 2018 WWE Hall of Fame legacy inductee class

Ten more names will be added to the legacy wing of WWE’s Hall of Fame tonight.
Promotional material for WrestleMania 34 has shown that the following will be inducted into the Hall of Fame this year as part of the recently established wing:
- El Santo, one of the most prolific figures in lucha libre history.
- Stan Stasiak, a former WWWF champion.
- Lord Alfred Hayes, former AWA manager who was later a WWE announcer.
- Dara Singh, an Indian wrestler who later became a politician and film star in India.
- Jim Londos, a Greek wrestler who was a big draw during the 1930s and 40s.
- Rufus R. Jones, a mainstay in the Mid Atlantic and Central States territories during the 1970s and 80s.
- Sputnik Monroe, best known for his run in the Memphis territory.
- Boris “The Great” Malenko, a territory wrestler with a Russian sympathizer gimmick who later trained his sons Dean and Joe Malenko.
- Cora Combs, a wrestler from the 1940s and 50s who later trained her daughter, Debbie.
- Hiro Matsuda, a territory wrestler in the 60s and 70s who later trained the likes of Hulk Hogan and Lex Luger.
They will be honored tonight during the Hall of Fame ceremony on the WWE Network, likely through a video like previous legacy award recipients. Introduced in 2016, The legacy award recognizes those from the earlier eras of professional wrestling, especially in the 20th century. There have been sixteen inductees since its inception.
