Drew McIntyre shares images of head injury suffered at WWE Bad Blood

Drew McIntyre suffered a significant head laceration during his Hell in a Cell match with CM Punk at WWE Bad Blood.
McIntyre posted photos of the match to his X account on Sunday, including one that shows off the stables needed to close the wound.
McIntyre was busted open when Punk hit him with a toolbox to the head. Fightful is reporting that he needed 16 staples to close the wound.
“McIntyre got busted open hard way,” our Dave Meltzer said on Wrestling Observer Radio.
Following the Hell in a Cell match on Saturday, Punk was also selling the impacts of the match. He collapsed on the way to the back and several EMTs crowded around him and gave him oxygen. Neither McIntyre nor Punk are advertised for tomorrow’s WWE Raw from St. Louis either.
The maker of the bracelet that was featured during the Punk/McIntyre rivalry also had a big night in Atlanta on Saturday. They met Punk backstage and were gifted a commemorative bracelet of their own.
