Dash Wilder out of action after fracturing jaw

One half of The Revival will be out of action for the next several weeks after suffering an injury.

WWE.com announced today that Dash Wilder fractured his jaw at an NXT house show over the weekend. Wilder last wrestled when he teamed with Scott Dawson against Shinsuke Nakamura & Hideo Itami in Spartanburg, South Carolina on Friday night.

The Revival also showed up later that night after the Bobby Roode vs. Tye Dillinger main event to aid Dillinger and Nakamura against Roode and The Authors of Pain, though Wilder suffered the injury in the tag match earlier.

There was an angle on the Saturday NXT show in Concord, North Carolina where The Revival had to decide which member would be Roode’s partner against Nakamura & Dillinger in the main event, with Wilder being held out due to his injury. Dawson sided with the babyfaces after that match before there was a farewell to The Revival, Nakamura, and Dillinger as they take their places on the main roster.

WWE’s post about Wilder’s injury noted that he’ll have to get his jaw wired and that he should be back in approximately eight weeks.

The Revival made their main roster debut on the Raw after WrestleMania earlier this month. They defeated The New Day two weeks in a row and were being positioned as one of the top teams in the show’s tag team division.

Pro Wrestling Sheet first reported news of Wilder’s injury earlier today.
