Cruiserweight title match set for WWE Money in the Bank
The Cruiserweight title will be on the line at Money in the Bank.
In a video that WWE uploaded tonight, Drake Maverick announced that Cruiserweight Champion Tony Nese will defend his title against Ariya Daivari at Money in the Bank. Daivari was set up as Nese’s next challenger by defeating Oney Lorcan in a number one contender’s match on the April 23 episode of 205 Live.
Nese won the Cruiserweight title from Buddy Murphy on the WrestleMania 35 pre-show.
Money in the Bank is taking place at the XL Center in Hartford, Connecticut on May 19. Here’s the updated card for the pay-per-view:
