Contract signing, Riddle vs. Jey Uso added to WWE SmackDown

A contract signing and a match have been added to tonight’s SmackDown.

Ahead of WrestleMania Backlash, tonight’s SmackDown will feature Charlotte Flair and Ronda Rousey taking part in a contract signing for their match at the pay-per-view. Charlotte is defending her SmackDown Women’s Championship against Rousey in an “I Quit” match at WrestleMania Backlash on Sunday, May 8.

Charlotte vs. Rousey is a rematch from WrestleMania 38. After using a ref bump to her advantage, Charlotte retained the SmackDown Women’s title against Rousey at WrestleMania. Charlotte had tapped out to an armbar during the match, but the referee was knocked out and didn’t see it.

Riddle vs. Jey Uso has also been announced for tonight’s SmackDown. This will be the second straight week that Raw Tag Team Champions RK-Bro have appeared on the show. In last week’s main event, Riddle defeated Jimmy Uso.

RK-Bro are facing SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Usos in a title unification match at WrestleMania Backlash.

Tonight’s SmackDown is being held at MVP Arena in Albany, New York. Here’s the updated lineup for the episode:
