‘Coming soon’ vignette featuring cars airs on WWE SmackDown

Another vignette has aired on WWE television.
During Friday’s SmackDown, a video aired showing a car revving up. Two shadowy figures, a police siren, and a helicopter were also seen, as well as images that appear to be of Detroit. The video ended with the words “coming soon”.
Based on the images, the video could be hyping the impending debut of Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley, the Motor City Machine Guns. The multiple-time tag team champions left TNA in April and entered free agency, where they finished taking independent dates in August. Last month, it was reported that the two would be debuting in NXT ‘imminently’.
All three of WWE’s shows this week featured mysterious vignettes, with little or no context regarding who they might be relating to. On Raw, a vignette featuring the words ‘fate is woven’ aired, teasing a return of the reunited Viking Raiders. The following night on NXT, a woman was seen walking down a highway hinting at a debut at Halloween Havoc on October 27. That is related to the debut of Australian star Delta, who signed with WWE earlier in the year.
