Cody Rhodes vs. LA Knight, Owens vs. Sikoa street fight set for WWE Raw
A first-time ever match has been made official for tonight’s Raw.
WWE has confirmed that Cody Rhodes vs. LA Knight will take place on Raw tonight. The match was set up by a challenge that Rhodes issued on Twitter.
The tweet exchange between Knight and Rhodes can be seen below:
Knight: EVERYBODY knows you can’t have an LA Wrestlemania without LA Knight. But @wwe is late to the game, DRAGGING THEIR FEET on giving Wrestlemania the opportunity for an LA Knight moment. It’s about damn time I get a heads up. I’m done waiting.
Rhodes: Well I don’t want to be outta’ practice by #WrestleMania If you’re in Providence, stand opposed…what are we waiting for? #WWERaw
Knight: Whatever any of this gobbledygook meant. It’s amazing all these ‘top guys’ feel the need to be in my business. Threatened much? The answer is clearly YEAH. I can be there in a couple hours, but practice? Buckle up for a long night my guy
Rhodes was involved in the main event angle of SmackDown this past Friday. Rhodes and Sami Zayn stood tall after brawling with The Usos.
It’s also been announced that Kevin Owens will face Solo Sikoa in a street fight on Raw tonight. Owens defeated Sikoa by disqualification last Monday after Jimmy Uso interfered. Zayn made the save for Owens after the match, but Owens is still refusing to work together with Zayn to take out The Bloodline.
A match between Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson and Maximum Male Models had been announced for tonight but is no longer being advertised by WWE. Here’s the updated lineup for the episode:

- Edge & Finn Balor face-to-face
