Cody Rhodes vs. Grayson Waller announced for WWE Raw

WWE has announced a new match for Raw. 

Cody Rhodes vs. Grayson Waller is now scheduled for the show. 

WWE announced the news just hours before tonight’s event at the SAP Center in San Jose, California. 

After calling him out earlier today, @GraysonWWE gets his wish as he will go one-on-one with @CodyRhodes

TONIGHT on #WWERaw! 

Rhodes was a guest on The Grayson Waller Effect on Saturday at Elimination Chamber. He called out The Rock for a one-on-one match during the segment. 

On Monday, WWE posted a video of Waller calling out Rhodes for Raw. 

Waller says in the video: 

Cody Rhodes, you came to my house, you didn’t wipe your feet, you disrespected my boy Austin Theory, well guess what? I’m in San Jose, I’m at Monday Night Raw, and I’m not going to wipe my feet or show you an ounce of respect. So, stop worrying about WrestleMania and start worrying about Grayson Waller. 

Tonight’s show is a virtual sellout with just under 11,944 tickets having been distributed, according to WrestleTix.
