Cody Rhodes to kick off Monday’s WWE Raw

Cody Rhodes will be kicking off Raw this comingMonday.
During SmackDown on Friday, it was announced that Rhodes will open Monday’s show in Ontario, California.
In recent weeks, Rhodes has continued to feud with the likes of Judgment Day. On Raw this past Monday, he saved Jey Uso from an attack by The Judgment Day. It was Rhodes that announced on the Grayson Waller Effect back at WWE Payback earlier this month that Jey Uso was the newest member of the Raw roster.
Since the move, The Judgment Day have been keeping their eye on potentially recruiting Uso while others have isolated him backstage due to his previous actions in The Bloodline. However, Uso attacked The Judgment Day on Raw, signifying no interest. The Judgment Day then retaliated, causing Cody Rhodes to come out for the save.
The current lineup for the Monday, September 25 Raw in Ontario, California at the Toyota Arena:
- Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship: The Judgment Day’s Damian Priest & Finn Balor defend against Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn
- NXT North American Championship: The Judgment Day’s Dominik Mysterio defends against Dragon Lee
- Shinsuke Nakamura responds to Seth Rollins
- “Big” Bronson Reed vs. Alpha Academy’s Otis
- Tommaso Ciampa vs. Ludwig Kaiser
- Cody Rhodes to kick off the show
