Cody Rhodes to appear on WWE SmackDown

Cody Rhodes will be appearing on this Friday’s SmackDown to confront Roman Reigns.

After defeating Chad Gable on Monday’s Raw, Rhodes mentioned that he has yet to meet Roman Reigns face-to-face, and will change that by going to Washington, D.C., the home of Friday’s SmackDown. It was announced on last week’s show that Reigns would be making his return to television Friday after successfully retaining the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against Sami Zayn.

Since winning the Royal Rumble last month, Rhodes instead has been confronted twice by Paul Heyman, who has made things personal with Rhodes ahead of his match against Reigns at WrestleMania 39. On last week’s Raw, he told Rhodes that he couldn’t beat Reigns, but if he did, he’d lead a busy life like his father, never having time for his family.
