Cody Rhodes appearance to kick off WWE Raw
An appearance by Cody Rhodes has been confirmed for Monday’s episode of Raw.
During a commercial that aired on SmackDown, it was announced that Rhodes will kick off Raw this Monday night (January 15). Rhodes will likely shift his focus to the Royal Rumble after recently ending his feud with Shinsuke Nakamura.
A street fight between Rhodes and Nakamura headlined Raw this past Monday. Rhodes won the match after sending Nakamura through a table and then hitting Cross Rhodes.
Rhodes is one of the first five wrestlers to declare for the 2024 men’s Royal Rumble match. Nakamura, CM Punk, Bobby Lashley, and Drew McIntyre have also been confirmed as Rumble entrants. Rhodes is looking to win the Rumble for the second straight year and then headline WrestleMania 40.
The Royal Rumble is now two weeks away. It’s taking place on Saturday, January 27.
