CM Punk thanks fans as WWE European tour winds down

As WWE’s European tour reaches its final stop, CM Punk took a moment to thank the fans for their support.

The tour began on March 14 and wraps up with today’s episode of Raw from London. The tour included multiple episodes of Raw and SmackDown, along with a slate of house shows. In a post to his Instagram stories, Punk expressed gratitude for all of the fans he performed in front of. Punk said he’s homesick right now but is having the time of his life.

“Thank you Bologna, Belfast, Nottingham, Glasgow, London, Vienna. Thank you Amsterdam,” he wrote. “Overflowing with gratitude. Thank you fans. We appreciate you very much. (Homesick but having the time of my life.)”

Punk also spoke to the audience at Sunday’s house show in Amsterdam, saying he’s in his “old man, overly grateful phase” right now and likes to tell people how much they mean to him. He credited the fans’ support for making his WWE return happen.

With WrestleMania 41 now less than three weeks away, Punk and WWE are heading back to the United States after today’s Raw. It was confirmed last week that Punk vs. Roman Reigns vs. Seth Rollins will be the main event of night one of WrestleMania at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on Saturday, April 19.
