CM Punk signs with Paradigm Talent Agency

CM Punk is the latest WWE wrestler to join Paradigm Talent Agency.
Punk signed with the company for “representation in all areas,” Deadline reported on Wednesday. The news comes just one week after it was announced Tiffany Stratton was being represented by the same agency. World Heavyweight Champion Damian Priest signed with Paradigm in April as well.
Punk is said to have “an eye toward expanding his presence in entertainment.” The 45-year-old’s acting credits include two seasons of the show Heels as wrestler Ricky Rabies. He also played the role of Paul, an Iraq war veteran dealing with PTSD, in four episodes of the show Mayans FC.
Punk’s wife, former WWE wrestler AJ Lee (AJ Mendez), commented on the news in a post to her Instagram Stories.
Deadline’s report noted that Punk’s return to WWE late last year “immediately helped Raw ratings rise 29 percent, during the period when WWE was negotiating its $5 billion, 10-year media rights package with Netflix.”
“After his return to the WWE, Punk moved more than $1 million in merchandise over the course of just 24 hours, and he continues to be the top merchandise seller for the WWE since his return,” wrote Matt Grober.
