Christian appearance announced for WWE Raw

For the first time since being laid out by a punt from Randy Orton last month, Christian is set to appear on WWE television.

WWE has announced that Christian will appear on tonight’s post-Extreme Rules episode of Raw. Tonight’s show will also feature Orton facing Big Show in an unsanctioned match.

WWE.com wrote about Christian’s appearance:

Tonight on Raw, the WWE Universe will hear from Christian for the first time since he was taken out by Randy Orton.

Captain Charisma felt the wrath of The Viper in an Unsanctioned Match last month. Looking to defend the honor of his best friend Edge a night after The Rated-R Superstar was viciously punted by Orton in The Greatest Wrestling Match ever, Christian fell victim to the trap laid by Orton and Ric Flair and suffered the same fate.

In addition to the appearance by Christian and Orton vs. Big Show, tonight’s Raw will feature Seth Rollins vs. Aleister Black, SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley vs. Kairi Sane in a non-title match, and WWE following up on the Raw Women’s Championship and United States Championship situations following Extreme Rules.
