Chelsea Green debuts, Liv Morgan qualifies for WWE Survivor Series

Months after being set for a main roster call-up, Chelsea Green officially debuted on SmackDown tonight.
Green took part in a fatal four-way Survivor Series qualifying match on tonight’s SmackDown. Liv Morgan defeated Natalya, Tamina, and Green in the match. Morgan pinned Tamina to get the win.
Morgan joins Bianca Belair and Ruby Riott on SmackDown’s Survivor Series women’s team. There are two spots left on SmackDown’s women’s team for their five-on-five Survivor Series elimination match against Team Raw. Shayna Baszler, Nia Jax, Mandy Rose, Dana Brooke, and Lana are on Team Raw. Survivor Series is taking place on Sunday, November 22.
Fightful Select reported that Green was originally scheduled to win tonight’s qualifying match, but a change had to be called on the fly when Green was taken out of the match early on.
Prior to tonight’s match, there was a backstage segment where Adam Pearce told Natalya that he was putting her in another Survivor Series qualifier. Natalya called herself the best of all time and wanted to be added to the team without qualifying. After Natalya left Pearce’s office, Green appeared and put her hand on Pearce’s shoulder.
The qualifying match was about to start as a triple threat between Morgan, Natalya, and Tamina, but it was announced that Green was being added to make it a fatal four-way.
Tonight was the first time Green has wrestled since the May 27 episode of NXT. There was a post-show angle after that episode where Green fired Robert Stone as her manager. WrestleTalk first reported this June that Green was being discussed for a main roster call-up.
